Have you had an opportunity to walk through Hap Magee Park recently?  If so, you hopefully stopped under “the bounty garden” sign at our gate to peer at the nine raised beds full of robust chard, broccoli and lettuce seedlings.

These little gems represent our “trial run” or our test of the irrigation system, the organic soil, the tools and supplies and, of course, the Barn.  So many valuable items are showing up at the Garden now… for instance,  beautiful vintage crates to carry our harvests to the Food Bank, an incredible grocer’s scale with which to keep track of our bounty, and teak chaise lounges on which to rest and take in the sights and sounds of our Garden.

If you haven’t had a moment yet to stop by, we hope you will soon…. before our lovely November rains come to stay awhile!

With all our best,

The Bounty Garden Hive
