As April showers gave way to sunny days, the Park’s paths dried and construction on the Garden began. Due to the efforts of so many, including the amazing network of Town staff involved in keeping our parks so beautiful, we have been able to make great progress.

May 15, 2012 ~ Temporary construction fencing arrives, kindly donated by Hanson & Fitch Fencing of Danville.
May 18, 2012 ~ Much to the thrill of visiting pre-schoolers, the “earthmovers” began their work of lightly grading the site for drainage and the vegetable beds.
The Bounty Garden Barn BEFORE May 18, 2012 – Note the flattened roof peak. Stories say that many years of drying heavy steer heads on the roof by rancher Hap Magee flattened it out!

May 18, 2012 ~ R & J Construction of Danville begins the removal, restoration and replacement of the original materials on the Barn.
And, three short weeks later…
June 8, 2012 – The Bounty Garden Barn!
IN ADDITION, CLEARY BROTHERS LANDSCAPING worked feverishly to INSTALL THE MAIN IRRIGATION LINE, ZONE IRRIGATION PIPES, ELECTRICAL WIRING AND START THE PATHS ALL IN TIME FOR…
